Peer Support
The Peer Support Programme provides the opportunity for Year 13 students to work in small groups with year 9 students attached to their form class, assisting them to make the transition from primary to high school as smooth as possible.
The programme runs intensively during Term 1 and each week different themes are developed for discussion including orientation to high school, homework, bullying, strengthening the form class, friendship and peer pressure. The Year 13 students continue informal contact with their students throughout the year, encouraging them to seek guidance and support when necessary.
